Apples to Apples

Few weeks ago, I went to Apple Hill for the first time. As you might expect, it's apple heaven. Doesn't seem fun said like that to go check out apples but yeah, it is, a lot of fun. There are more than 50 farms and ranches with a different number you can visit. The landscape is really cool, you can eat apple pies (crazy right?), drink some beer and wine, play the little house in the prairie and run in the fields, go pumpkin patching or cut your own Christmas tree... A nice nature break to feel great!

Il y a quelques semaines je suis allée a Apple Hill pour la 1ere fois. Comme son nom l'indique, c'est un peu le paradis des pommes. Bon ca parait pas hyper fun, aller voir des pommes mais en fait si. Il y a un parcours avec plus de 50 fermes et ranch qui ont un numero different. Le paysage est vraiment chouette, tu peux manger des tartes...aux pommes (la bonne blague), boire de la biere et du vin, jouer a la petite maison dans la prairie en courant dans les pres, ramasser tes citrouilles pour Halloween ou couper ton arbre de Noel... La bonne pause nature qui fait du bien.

Lanvin / H&M

This is probably the biggest collaboration the Swedish line has done until now and it's really exciting. It will hit the stores on November 23rd and if you're not there on the opening day, you'll probably only see those clothes online, knowing that's definitely going to sell out.
Alber Elbaz, the man with the bow tie and creative director of Lanvin, took over the brand in 2001 by offering asymmetric necklines and feminines silhouettes.

The clothes remain secret until November 2nd, (even the behind-the-scenes film has pixelated the outfits) but an image from their ad campaign has leaked today...

I'm not impatient or excited at all. No no. I actually don't even care. (pinocchio syndrome)

Cardigan Weather

Ok, I got to admit my blog is slowly dying lately, and I need to come to grips with it. Mouth to mouth resuscitation, heart massage, come back to life my little blog!!!

It's starting getting cooler in LA (and I'm becoming this girl who talks about the weather..), and I like to dig into my closet to bring out my coats and scarfs again.

Incidentally, I purchased not too long ago what became my fav fall item. A sort of really heavy cardigan, super comfy, I'm almost tempted to sleep with it. It's like a wool best friend I can give hugs to all day long :) That's it for my platonic clothing love story, I posted some pics of my knit boyfriend underneath, but don't be jealous please!

Ok, il faut avouer que mon blog se meurt un peu ces derniers temps, j'ai deserte, et il faut que je reprenne les choses en mains. Bouche a bouche, massage cardiaque, reviens a la vie petit blog!!!

Il commence a faire un peu frais sur LA (et voila, je deviens l'une de ces meufs relous qui parlent du temps..) et c'est plutot chouette de ressortir manteaux et echarpes qui etaient planques bien au fond de ma penderie.

J'ai d'ailleurs fait l'acquisition il y a peu de ce qui est devenu mon vetement d'automne favori... Un genre de gilet qui pese 3 tones, hyper comfortable, j'aurais presque envie de dormir avec. Une sorte de meilleur ami en laine, a qui je fait des calins toute la journee :) Voila pour ma love story platonique, je vous ai mis quelques photos de mon boyfriend un peu plus bas, pas de jalouses s'il vous plait!

Peace, Love And Santa Monica

I really love taking pictures and I really love Santa Monica. Well, great news, I was there last Sunday! I could walk around all day photographing what I see and feel. I'm in my own little bubble, watching the best movie ever: life. (Ok, I don't think I could be more cheesy than what I just wrote, not sure if I assume this a 100%)

I'm looking forward to be a better photographer, but to be realistic, I just need a little bit of money to buy the Canon 5D I've been dreaming of since last year. Some people say it helps to take great pics...

Santa Monica Pier has a fascinating something. It's full of characters you could meet in a Lewis Caroll story, and has some sort of mystical force who makes me not want to look at my phone to see what time it is. Time stops and the magic starts; the rides, the colors, the ocean smell, kids running around,... I'm also obsessed with fairs and water, so I might have the answer why I love this place so much..!

J'aime vraiment prendre des photos et j'aime vraiment Santa Monica. Ca tombe bien, j'y etais Dimanche! Je pourrais vraiment passer ma journée a marcher pour photographier ce que je ressens et vois. Je suis dans ma petite bulle, regardant le meilleur film au monde: la vie (ok, j'assume moyen cette phrase sortie des feux de l'amour..)

J'espere devenir une photographe un peu calée un de ces jours, mais bon en etant realiste il me faut juste un peu plus de sous pour m'acheter le Canon 5D dont je me reve depuis un an. Il parait que ca aide un peu pour prendre de jolies photos...

Santa Monica Pier a quelques chose de fascinant. On croise plein de gens sortis d'un bouquin de Lewis Caroll et il y a comme une espece de force mystique qui m'empeche de regarder mon telephone pour savoir quelle heure il est. Le temps s'arrete et la magie commence: les maneges, les couleurs, l'odeur de l'ocean, les enfants qui courent partout... En meme temps je suis un peu fan de l'eau et des fetes foraines donc ceci explique cela! Bred, j'ecris n'importe quoi, je vais me coucher!
